This website is operated by the Australian Democrats (Victoria), a division of the Australian Democrats, a registered political party. References to "we", "us" and "our" are references to the Australian Democrats.
Using this site
You're welcome to browse the site, read and share our policies, download our how-to-vote materials for personal and campaign use, and use our forms to join, donate, volunteer or contact us. You agree to use the site lawfully and honestly: don't misuse the forms, submit information that is false or misleading, attempt to interfere with the site's operation or security, or use automated tools to scrape or overload it.
Your content and information
When you submit information through the site — an application, a donation, a message, a sign-up — you confirm it is accurate and yours to give. Personal information you provide is handled as described in our privacy policy. Membership applications are subject to approval under the party's constitution; if an application is not successful, any fees paid will be refunded in full.
Payments and donations
Payments on this site are processed by Stripe on its secure hosted pages — your card details never touch this website. Donations must comply with Victorian and Commonwealth electoral funding and disclosure laws; by donating you confirm you are eligible to do so. Donations are generally not refundable, but if you believe a payment was made in error, contact us and we will consider it in good faith.
Our content
The content of this site — text, policies, graphics, logos and materials — belongs to the Australian Democrats or is used with permission. You may quote, share and reproduce our material for fair, honest purposes, including news reporting, research and civic discussion, with attribution. Don't use our name, logo or materials in a way that misrepresents us, implies our endorsement, or misleads voters — and don't reproduce electoral material in ways that breach electoral law.
Links to other sites
The site links to third-party services and websites (for example, the AEC and VEC, social media platforms, and our payment processor). We link to them in good faith, but we don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
