A former banker and now a proud stay-at-home dad, Chris is standing for the Australian Democrats in Victoria’s Western Metropolitan Region.
Having called Victoria home for over a decade, Chris understands the challenges facing local families, from housing affordability and rising living costs to inadequate public transport and environmental sustainability.
A Finance and Economics graduate from the University of Melbourne, Chris served as a Queer Officer during his university years, championing inclusion and equal opportunity. As a father raising a child in an LGBTQIA+ and migrant family, he believes genuine equality must extend beyond rhetoric to policies that remove barriers and improve everyday lives.
Chris believes Melbourne’s west deserves greater attention, investment and accountability. Despite significant infrastructure improvements, many communities continue to experience inadequate public transport connectivity and unequal access to essential services.
Through the Legislative Council, Chris is committed to strengthening government scrutiny, promoting fiscal transparency and advocating for practical, sustainable policies that benefit residents across all socioeconomic backgrounds.
His vision is a connected, inclusive and thriving Western Metropolitan Region, where every family can enjoy a safe environment, accessible opportunities and a sustainable future.
