Meet Jacqui Morel, our candidate for the South-Eastern Metropolitan Region
Born and raised in the South-Eastern Metropolitan Region, Jacqui works in a local small business and volunteers with local kinder, school and youth sports organisations.

We’re proud to introduce Jacqui Morel as one of our two candidates for the South-Eastern Metropolitan Region in the Legislative Council at the Victorian State Election on 28 November 2026.
Jacqui Morel was born and raised in South East Metro region, she currently lives in the district with her spouse and their two young children, where she is a dedicated volunteer in roles with local kinder, school and youth sports organisations.
Jacqui works in a local small business, with skills in finance, management, and HR, she has worked and lived in Victoria and Queensland, in a variety of industries, including not-for-profit, hospitality, retail and small business.
As an Australian Democrats candidate Jacqui aims to focus on transparent governance and proportional representation for the Legislative Council. She also would like to work towards reducing essential household costs, and recognition of safe, secure and affordable housing as a human right.
Jacqui asks for your vote for the Australian Democrats, to give Victorians a stronger voice, lower essential costs and expand secure housing.
